Memorial Museum - Closed
During the week I was talking to a friend of mine and telling him about how I wanted to go see the tank graveyard. He told me if I was interested in stuff like that I should visit the Memorial Museum where they have on display land mines, tanks and pictures from the devastation left behind by Saddam. So I decided to pass by today but it turned out to be closed. I am not having any luck with this "Discover Kuwait" idea of mine, maybe I should change the date from a Friday to a Monday, didn't think touristic places would be closed on a weekend. Anyway, I will probably pass by it some time this week and hopefully shoot some pictures.

The last time I was there, it was a weekday, but it was obvious that me and my friend were the first visitors in months. but they opened the place just for us, and were nice and helpful.
Come to think of it, I think we were the only visitors in most museums/places of interest we went to, but everything was opened for us...

Thanks for sharing your opinions on my blog. I have had lots of articles and few photos and have just recently put up my blog again but without all the previous posts. That is why it seems empty.
I have had a look at your blog and coming from a non-photo journalistic realm, I find yours as useless writing about mediocre trivia. Are you that bored in Kuwait? But hey you have your few shallow followers who follow what you superficially lead: daily trivial shit of Kuwait and journalistically attaching photos to help induce your words. Yet, on both fronts, they are worthless even if it's free to read!

"Dude" I DO get it! If you wanted your photos to speak for themselves, then you shouldn't prescribe so many words. Let the photos talk and present themselves. Instead, you desensitize and de-beautify the intrepretations of the photos by writing styleless descriptions along the way.Most of the photos are nothing artistic or influential enough for them to convey strong messages on their own! It's your blog though!

Not only are your comments worthless .. I also find it quite sad that you attempt to riducle people under the fake veil of being intelligent. I have read your posts/blog and I have to admit .. you need to find a hobby.
You have multitudes of blogs out there, kuwaiti and otherwise, which spend the majority of the their writing on worthless crap. And yet, you have begun ignoring them, which you used to target to inflate yourself into thinking that you are a genuis. And now you are offending mark?? Honestly, he is one of the few bloggers that I find interesting. His posts are too the point and his pictures speak thousands if not millions of words.
I suggest you go look for some more teenage blogs to attack; because this is not the place to attempt to increase your ego. How about joining a self esteem class?

tantalize i did not come to your blog and insult it without justification. I came to your blog, read your post insulting all the other blogs and decided to make you aware that not only does your blog not fair any better then the blogs you insulted but its actually one of the worst. So before you spread lies about how I came and attacked you for no reason, show everyone what you posted about them.
secondly you seem to have some kind of problem where you think different people attacking you are the same person, I also read you were having that issue in your blog. I don't know if you find it hard to believe that many people dislike you but the truth is they seem to do. TheKuwaiti is not me, I am not afraid to tell in your face what I think and I have already done that. TheKuwaiti is the webmaster of thekuwaiti.com so you can put your conspiracy theory away and use common sense.
Finally why would anyone want to debate a lonely angry blogger who thinks of himself too highly? Maybe if you had a decent blog with more then a handful of lame posts we would be more interested in debating you but at the moment you don't have any cards to play with. Maybe in the future once you blog a bit you can come back again and we can have your debate.

As for the psycho-analysis; it’s quite simple what kind of person you are. You think that you are a misunderstood Supreme Being and that the world has failed you.
As far as a mutual debate... I view a debate as a discussion of two opposing viewpoints based on facts. Debating or should I say arguing with you would time be better spent banging my head in the wall.

Very mature guys! Mark I did not delete any of your comments nor did I edit anything of that post. You can verify that on safat.kuwaitbloggers.com when it was first published with the same one I have on my blog. That should quell the "lies" bit. And I never wrote that "all" blogs were crap. Please re-read again.
There is no more need to get dirty and nasty. It's getting childish. I thank you all for your time and comments. And Entrepeneur; I have been decent with you thus far on my blog and I hope it can remain that way instead of getting into these trivial bickerings. Thanks again. We are all adults!
