Me, Nibaq and Nat met up tonight and went and had dinner at Zaatar W Zeit at Marina Crescent. The weather was really nice and there were a lot of kids hanging out at the basketball court adjacent to the crescent. Dinner was OK, I would rather have Sajj House over ZwZ but Nat seems to prefer it for some reason. I personally think any place that charges KD1.200 for a Halloum Sajj is a rip off..

Zaatar Manousheh is usually the food when you are broke or realy out of cash. At ZwZ its the opposite way around and you need to set a budget for it.
Well, I kinda think Marina Crescent is all about ripping people off.
They have those shisha places also with the Phillipino waiters which I think is all wrong. It took me years to perfect the phrase "Wahed shisha skandarany men fadlek" and when all the Philippino waiter does is stare back and say "Excuse me mam" my whole evening is ruined.
I wouldnt call it ripping people off.. If people did not want it, then it would not exist. If I want good shisha, I go to a good shisha place. I want a faux lounge, I go to one of those places. :)
