The Project

A picture a day, everyday, for 1 year. Project started on my wedding night, Nov 14th 2004. The aim of the project is to learn more about Kuwait and increase my creativty. Project will end on Nov 14th 2005.
Equipment
-
I carry my Nikon D70 digital camera with me always. I use a Nikon 50mm 1.8F AF lens. I blog from my Apple G4 Powermac.
Miskan
-
Miskan is a Kuwaiti island that lies to the south of the Bubiyan Island. Miskan is void of any vital activity except for a lighthouse to guide ships sailing in the Gulf night.

As a matter of fact I used to live like a couple blocks away from there, And I worked at Swan Lake records breifly. And there was a store across the street from Dairy Queen that sells Holiday Cards. I also remember CAPTAIN KHALIL lol.
how much does a d70 cost over there?
Palforce, the holiday cards shop is called Fay and its infront of hardees and tikka. infront of dairyqueen was Bells music store and Red Shoes.
D70 costs around KD300 after discount here in Kuwait.
Mark,
you're right. Dang My memory is fading .
Where did you go to which Highschool Mark? and what year did you graduate ?
Ya.. I remember Dairy Queen, I guess I loved the Blizzards they made (Oreo & Snikers) as they flipped it upside down! Are there any Dairy Queens left in Kuwait now?
