Red Apple
My plan to make the last ten days the best ten days of this project seems to be failing miserably. I have like 6 days left and I guess I just can't wait for them to be over. I wanted to shoot various places in Kuwait but by the time I finish work at 6 I just want to get home. I do want to try and shoot The Red Fort before the week is over but can anyone help me by telling me how to get there. Todays picture is of my sisters new PowerBook. Its silver but the red bed sheets were reflecting onto it and I thought the various shades of red looked interesting.

go to Jahra and ask someone there. we've been there tons of times but we never find it right away. its next to a big park

Get on the Jahra Road (No. 80) and keep going until you reach the bridge that says "Amghara and Jahra Camping Area" or something like that.
Take a left under the bridge and you will be on Road No. 607. Keep going and soon after that the Red Fort will be on your right between the park and the fire station.
I went there a few months ago and it was under renovation - should be nice now - the guard expects a tip!
It has been under renovation for about 2 years.
I think I recounted this story before, but once we went there with a big group and the guard expected KD3 EACH, including 6months old baby, which would have meant like KD18 for him since there was 6 of us.
We managed to haggle it down to like KD6, which was still waaaay too much for the 20 minute "guided tour" he gave us, in his sleeping dishdasha...
